The basis of our company was founded in 1960. From the very beginning, our production was involved in designing and constructing precision machines and special machines.

As shown in the stages of development, our company has developed more and more from small beginnings. Today there is a first-class furnished with excellent production machinery. The machines are subject to constant major overhaul in order to achieve increasingly high levels of accuracy in the production. Our company's buildings were constantly being expanded and are in very good condition. Two-thirds of the buildings were built after 1980. The development of the product range led to many innovations in the field of measuring instruments that were backed by a sufficiently large number of patents. The company ZETT MESS GmbH was one of the first manufacturer of measuring machines, which has developed in the eighties together with the University of Göttingen, a non-contact laser scanning system pulping triangulation method. For safety, we can emphasize that ZETT MESS could offer the first manufacturer of measuring machines TÜV-certified machines. The machines have been checked mechanically and electrically and could result in the GS mark.

The manufacture of machinery highest standards are applied. In 1994 ZETT MESS has been as one of the first measuring machines certified producers by ISO 9001.
