Maintenance & calibration

Maintenance and calibration includes the following work steps:

• General cleaning of the machine
• Checking of the bearings in the stand and in the saddle
• Checking and readjustment of the base plate
• Checking of the drive and the brakes
• Checking of the drive belts X, Y, Z and adjustment
• Checking of the drive units X, Y, Z and adjustment
• Checking and readjustment of the support cables
• Checking of the clamping function
• Checking of the expansion lining in X, Y, Z (if present)
• Complex checking and readjustment of the guide rail pair and the scraper
• Checking and readjustment of the geometry in X, Y, Z
• Complete checking and recalibration of the incremental longitudinal measurement system
• Final dimension measurement in accordance with VDI / VDE 2617
• Checking and readjustment of the recording head
